KATE CROSS

Kate Cross (3rd Oct 1991) was a member of UOLWCC from 2010 to 2013 (BA Psychology). An extremely talented bowler, Kate was the first woman to be accepted into Lancashire’s cricket academy in 2006. By only 22, she had captained Lancashire and was selected to represent England at Ashes in Australia. She has since played for Brisbane Heat Women. Kate has experienced success in both the Test and ODI formats for England: she took a match haul of 6 for 71 in the 2014 Test against India, and claimed her first international five-wicket haul against New Zealand at Lincoln in February 2015. In April 2014, she was one of the 18 Women to be awarded the first Professional Contracts by the ECB. 

ALICE DAVIDSON-RICHARDS

Alice Davidson-Richards (29th May 1994) was a member of UOLWCC from 2012 to 2015.  A talented batter, Alice plays for Kent Women.  Alice was part of the Yorkshire Diamonds team for the inaugural KIA Super League in 2016, returning to Leeds to play the first ever match at Headingley Cricket Ground.  Having been recently selected for the England Women's Cricket Academy, we wish Alice the very best for her future cricket endeavours!
