Maximising your cricket potential without compromising your education.

"One of the great benefits of the MCCU scheme is that it prevents people from being forced to choose between education and playing cricket professionally.  It is important that young players can continue their education and at the same time progress into the professional game."

Andrew Strauss

MCC funds six university cricket academies in England and Wales, giving talented young cricketers the chance to receive top-level coaching and playing opportunities whilst furthering their education.

The University of Leeds is part of the MCCU scheme and boasts a dedicated women's team, as of 2016, consisting of students from UOLWCC and Leeds Beckett combined.
